Up until now, Asia One has primarily been known as a printing and publishing company that also offers related services like colour management, design, translation and event management. It sounds like a broad spectrum of expertise, but take a step back, and the focus becomes clear: we are in essence a communications company.
Communication takes many forms and utilises many channels, but to be effective, creativity must give it shape. Therefore, diverse talent is a vital ingredient in any communications firm. We think there's a great story in that, and so we've created AO Magazine.
AO is the biannual 'voice' of Asia One, bringing readers behind the scenes for a compelling look at the people, activities and opinions that make it one of Hong Kong's most highly acclaimed communications service companiesw. As well as keeping readers up to date on the latest goings-on at Asia One, AO also offers insights to the communications sector at large. The final ingredient of our magazine is original photography, which in our opinion is worth thousands of words in itself.
In short, AO is an all-encompassing look at the ideas, people, technology and art of communication. Whether you're on the buying or selling side of the industry - or are just looking for something to browse through - you'll find plenty to pique your interest and engage your mind.
As a postscript, I would like to thank all the people who helped to bring AO to life, including Benny Au, Almond Chu, Freeman Lau, Kabo, Paul Dalton, Michael Wolf and Topaz Leung. I would also like to express my unreserved pride in our production staff here at Asia One Communication Group. This magazine is a showcase of their talent and sheer hard work.
